Day 1: Siem Reap – Arrival
Upon your arrival at airport, you will be welcomed by escort tour guide (with sign name) and driver then transfer directly to hotel for check in. Simply enjoy free time at hotel or make your own highlight tour around central area. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 2: Full Day Angkor Discovery
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Buffet Dinner + Apsara Show
Breakfast is at hotel. Our tour guide and driver will be meeting you at your hotel’s lobby at 8.00am then we’re heading out to visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom, was the last and most enduring capital city of the Khmer Empire. The gate is atop 4 giant smiling faces then particularly visit Bayon temple consisting of more than 200 smiling faces in stone and admired by interesting surroundings such as the terrace of elephants, the terrace of the leper King, Baphuon and Phimeanakas. Continue to reveal the intertwined Ta Prohm jungle temple adorned by the stunning tree roots, and where Lara Croft – Tomb Raider was filmed. Enjoy Khmer set lunch at Triple K air conditioning restaurant. Afternoon, we visit the magnificent Angkor Wat – the largest religious monument, also well- known as the 7th Wonder of the World’s. This incredible complex was originally constructed as a Hindu temple of god Vishnu for the Khmer Empire, gradually transforming into a Buddhist temple toward the end of the 12th century. We unlock the greatest history, observe the unique architecture, styles, decoration and so on. Resume visit beautiful sunset at Phnom Bakheng (limited allowance & touristy) or skip it if you feel tire. Evening, transfer to have buffet dinner followed by Apsara traditional dance performance at Kulen II restaurant. Return hotel and overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 3: Tonle Sap Floating Village, City Orientation & Silk Farm
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Breakfast is at hotel. We’re journeying out of the hassle city at 8.00am to Chong Kneas village’s boat pier. The journey takes approximately 30mins with some highlights of Siem Reap City. Once we arrived the pier, we process to embark a private sheltered boat to explore Tonle Sap Lake. The Tonle Sap is the largest freshwater lake in South East Asia and is also an ecological hot spot that was designated as a UNESCO biosphere in 1997. The boat excursion takes us passing floating school, floating houses which animated by some fishing activities. Our tour guide will explain you about Tonle Sap ecosystem and witness how life works in the floating community, and we stop to see floating crocodile farm, souvenirs shop if it interests you before we return to Siem Reap town for strolling around old market for shopping and see daily trading. Enjoy Khmer set lunch at Grill Wine Café - the unique art décor restaurant. Afternoon, we go for guided orientation at the finest Artisan Angkor wood/stone carving centre displaying various defined handicraft and silk products. Resume the journey to visit Puok Angkor silk farm – observe the silk processing and see a lot of finest silk products displaying. Return hotel for refreshment. Evening, transfer to have delicious Khmer set dinner at Asian Square restaurant. After dinner, our guide and driver will drop you off at pub street for your own exploration (or drop off at the hotel). Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 4: Siem Reap – Free & Easy
Breakfast is at hotel. Today is reserved as free & easy for your own exploration or simply relax by the hotel’s poolside. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Optional Tour: Phnom Kulen Waterfall & 1000 Linga Carvings
You will be greeted by our tour guide and driver at your hotel’s lobby at 8.00am then we drive out of the hassle city, passing beautiful countryside and stop to stroll around Preah Dak market to see highlights of local trades (if possible, visit Khmer vermicelli making) before arriving at Phnom Kulen. Phnom Kulen is one of Cambodia’s national parks that provides wonderful adventure & leisure day trip and also a great place to cool off under its falls. We’ll have a guided walking tour to visit Preah Ang Thom – the reclining giant reclining Buddha statue. Witness historical site of 1000 linga carvings and sacred pool where you observe the white clear water source comes out of the ground-pool all year round. Resume the tour to the beautiful waterfall where we can refresh, bathe and swim. Near the waterfall there are some handmade huts where we enjoy local lunch & fresh coconut. Enjoy the relaxation and feel the nature until late afternoon then we transfer you back to hotel. One the way, stop to visit palm sugar village with observing palm sugar making (dependable of the time) and see other various palm handicrafts.
Day 5: Siem Reap to Phnom Penh Capital by Overland (6 Hours)
1-10 Pax: We offer public Mekong Express Bus
Breakfast is at hotel. Our driver (no guide) transfers you from hotel’s lobby to Mekong
Express bus station for the departure at 8.30am direct to Phnom Penh Capital of Cambodia. The journey takes approx. 6 hours passing Cambodia countryside and interesting landscape when you’re on the bus.
Once you arrived in Phnom Penh, you will welcomed by our driver (no guide) at the bus station then we go straight to the hotel for check in. Simply have your own free time after check in and stay overnight in Phnom Penh.
11-20 Pax: We offer private coaster or 35-seater bus with tour guide.
Breakfast is at hotel. Our tour guide and driver meet you at 8.30 am at hotel’s lobby then we depart directly to Phnom Penh Capital of Cambodia. The journey takes approx. 6 hours passing Cambodia countryside. On the way, we will stop at Skun village where we challenge to eat crispy bugs including spiders, crickets or grasshoppers. Today’s lunch will be served at a selected local restaurant on the way to Phnom Penh. Once you checked in at the hotel in Phnom Penh, our Siem Reap tour guide and driver will say goodbye to you. For the rest of the tour activities in Phnom Penh for the next day will be led by our Phnom Penh tour guide and driver. Overnight in Phnom Penh.
Day 6: Full Day Phnom Penh City Tour, Sunset Cruise & Departure
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Buffet Dinner
Check out time: 12.00pm (Make sure you store all your luggage in the hotel’s store room). Breakfast is at hotel. We set off at 8.00am for interesting highlights of Phnom Penh with taking photos of Independent monument before heading to visit the Royal Palace – is a complex of buildings which serves as the royal residence of the king of Cambodia, Silver Pagoda, Royal Stupas, French style building etc. Resume visit the National Museum; the world’s most important collection of Khmer sculpture and carvings. Have Khmer set lunch at Bopha Titanic restaurant by the riverside. Afternoon, we continue to witness the tragic Tuol Sleng museum - a former high school that was turned into Tortured Prison S-21 when Khmer Rouge seized the power between 1975 and 1979. Next, resume strolling around Russian market for shopping before we’re going for guided orientation around Wat Phnom with interesting legendary of founding Phnom Penh Capital. Evening at 4.40pm, we get on board, enjoy welcome cocktail while the boat cruise slowly takes you along Mekong & Tonle Sap River, view the spectacular sunset before having buffet, dinner on board admired by fresh air and the colorful nightlights of Phnom Penh Capital. Disembark and transfer directly to airport for flight back home. Say Goodbye to Cambodia.
