Siem Reap & Phnom Penh Tour Package - 6 Days, 5 Nights

Day 1: Siem Reap – Arrival
Meal: None
Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be welcomed by an escort tour guide (with a sign name) and driver, then transfer directly to the hotel for check-in. Enjoy free time at the hotel or make your highlight tour around a central area overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 2: Full-Day Angkor Discovery
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Buffet Dinner + Apsara ShowBreakfast is at the hotel. Our tour guide and driver will meet you at your hotel’s lobby at 8.00 am. Then we’re heading out to visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom, the last and most enduring capital city of the Khmer Empire. The gate is atop four giant smiling faces. Then mainly visit the Bayon temple, which consists of more than 200 smiling faces in stone and is admired by exciting surroundings such as the terrace of elephants, the deck of the leper King, Baphuon, and Phimeanakas. Continue to reveal the intertwined Ta Prohm jungle temple adorned by stunning tree roots and where Lara Croft – Tomb Raider was filmed. Enjoy Khmer set lunch at Triple K air conditioning restaurant. Afternoon, we visit the magnificent Angkor Wat – the largest religious monument, also well-known as the 7th Wonder of the Worlds. This incredible complex was initially constructed as a Hindu temple of the god Vishnu for the Khmer Empire, gradually transforming into a Buddhist temple toward the end of the 12th century. We unlock the most extraordinary history and observe the unique architecture, styles, decorations, etc. Resume visit beautiful sunset at Phnom Bakheng (limited allowance & touristy) or skip it if you feel tired. Evening, transfer to have a buffet dinner followed by Apsara traditional dance performance at Kulen II restaurant. Return to hotel and overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 3: Tonle Sap Floating Village, City Orientation & Silk Farm
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Breakfast is at the hotel. We’re journeying out of the hassle city at 8.00 am to Chong Kneas village’s boat pier. The journey takes approximately 30mins with some highlights of Siem Reap City. Once we arrived at the port, we processed to embark on a private sheltered boat to explore Tonle Sap Lake. The Tonle Sap is the largest freshwater lake in South East Asia and is also an ecological hot spot designated as a UNESCO biosphere in 1997. The boat excursion takes us passing floating schools and houses animated by some fishing activities. Our tour guide will explain to you about the Tonle Sap ecosystem and witness how life works in the floating community, and we stop to see a floating crocodile farm, souvenirs shop if it interests you before we return to Siem Reap town for strolling around old market for shopping and see daily trading. Enjoy Khmer set lunch at Grill Wine Café - the unique art décor restaurant. Afternoon, we go for guided orientation at the finest Artisan Angkor wood/stone carving center displaying various defined handicraft and silk products. Resume the journey to visit Puok Angkor silk farm – observe the silk processing and see many of the finest silk products displayed. Return to hotel for refreshments. Evening, transfer to have a delicious Khmer set dinner at Asian Square restaurant. After dinner, our guide and driver will drop you off at pub street for your exploration (or drop you off at the hotel) overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 4: Siem Reap – Free & Easy
Meal: Breakfast
Breakfast is at the hotel. Today is reserved as free & easy for your exploration or relaxation by the hotel’s poolside overnight in Siem Reap.


Optional Tour: Phnom Kulen Waterfall & 1000 Linga Carvings


Meal: Lunch

You will be greeted by our tour guide and driver at your hotel’s lobby at 8.00 am Then we will drive out of the hassle city, passing beautiful countryside and stop to stroll around Preah Dak market to see highlights of local trades (if possible, visit Khmer vermicelli making) before arriving at Phnom Kulen. Phnom Kulen is one of Cambodia’s national parks that provides lovely adventure & leisure day trips and is also a great place to cool off under its falls. We’ll have a guided walking tour to visit Preah Ang Thom – the giant reclining Buddha statue. Witness the historical site of 1000 linga carvings and a sacred pool where you observe the white clear water source coming out of the ground pool all year round. Resume the tour to the beautiful waterfall where we can refresh, bathe and swim. Near the waterfall, there are some handmade huts where we enjoy local lunch & fresh coconut. Enjoy the relaxation and feel nature until late afternoon, then we transfer you back to the hotel. On the way, stop to visit a palm sugar village to observe palm sugar making (dependable of the time) and see other palm handicrafts.

Day 5: Siem Reap to Phnom Penh Capital by Overland (6 Hours)
Meal: Breakfast

  • 1-10 Pax: We offer public Mekong Express Bus

Breakfast is at the hotel. Our driver (no guide) will transfer you from the hotel’s lobby to the Mekong—express bus station for the departure at 8.30 am direct to Phnom Penh Capital of Cambodia. The journey takes approx. Six hours pass Cambodia countryside and attractive landscape when you’re on the bus. Once you arrive in Phnom Penh, you will be welcomed by our driver (no guide) at the bus station then we go straight to the hotel for check-in. Have your free time after check-in and stay overnight in Phnom Penh.

 

 

  • 11-20 Pax: We offer a private coaster or 35-seater bus with a tour guide.

Breakfast is at the hotel. Our tour guide and driver will meet you at 8.30 am at the hotel’s lobby then we depart directly to Phnom Penh Capital of Cambodia. The journey takes approx. Six hours we passed the Cambodian countryside. On the way, we will stop at Skun village, where we challenge to eat crispy bugs, including spiders, crickets, or grasshoppers. Today’s lunch will be served at a selected local restaurant on the way to Phnom Penh. Once you check in at the hotel in Phnom Penh, our Siem Reap tour guide and driver will say goodbye to you. The rest of the tour activities in Phnom Penh for the next day will be led by our Phnom Penh tour guide and driver. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 6: Full Day Phnom Penh City Tour, Sunset Cruise & Departure
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Buffet Dinner
