Day 1 – Colombo Airport - Anuradhapura
Distance/Travel Time: 175 km/ 3.5-4 hrs

Begin your Sri Lanka Buddhist pilgrimage journey with a transfer to Anuradhapura, one of the country's most important ancient Buddhist cities. Upon arrival, visit the sacred Sri Maha Bodhi, followed by Ruwanwelisaya Stupa, one of Sri Lanka's most revered Buddhist monuments. Day 2 – Anuradhapura Buddhist Heritage Tour
After breakfast, continue exploring Anuradhapura's sacred Buddhist heritage. Visit important sites including Thuparamaya, traditionally regarded as the first stupa built in Sri Lanka, Jetavanaramaya, and other ancient monasteries and stupas within the sacred city. The day provides ample time for pilgrimage, prayer, and exploration without rushing between destinations.

Day 3 – Anuradhapura - Mihintale - Polonnaruwa
Distance/Travel Time: 118 km/ 2.5-3 hrs
After breakfast, depart Anuradhapura for Mihintale, one of Sri Lanka's most significant Buddhist pilgrimage destinations. Mihintale is traditionally associated with the meeting between Arahat Mahinda and King Devanampiya Tissa and the introduction of Buddhism to Sri Lanka. Explore the ancient monastery complex, stupas, and sacred locations. Continue to Polonnaruwa, Sri Lanka's medieval capital and another important center of Buddhist heritage. Day 4 – Polonnaruwa - Dambulla - Kandy

Day 5 – Kandy Buddhist Pilgrimage
