Pulau Jerejak (Jerejak Island), is a 362-hectare island located at the southeastern tip of Penang, Malaysia, perhaps a short ferry ride from Bayan Lepas, Penang. In addition it was formerly a penal colony and known as the Alcatraz of Malaysia.  Jerejak Island is discovered on thick coastal approximately 4,000 years old which consists of about 210 species and 71 families of plants. Dipterocarp is a timber species found in hilly areas of the island that are highly priced beside the highly priced wood, another plant with commercial value in the Jerejak forest wood to be used commonly known as Tongkat Ali. Tongkat Ali is a medicinal plant and is supposed to have a sexual effect of Viagra. Furthermore Palau Jerejak mangrove swamps in the area that provides a natural habitat and breeding ground for the species of organisms such as crabs and jellyfish and sea habitat Besides the wide range of flora available on the island, there is the variety of flora and fauna species on Jerejak Island. There is among 39 animal species here are white bellied sea eagles, monitor lizards and long-tailed macaques.Long-tailed macaques are diurnal (active during the day) and arboreal (tree-living) animals. They live in multi-male and multifemale groups.  Ideal place for bird watching and sign seeing.
Day 1: ARRIVE PENANG ISLAND JETTY - PULAU JEREJAK
Upon arrival at Penang Island Jetty, you will be met by our representative and be transferred to the resort by ferry. After check in free at your own leisure and make use the hotel facility.
Day 2: Pulau Jerejak
After breakfast at hotel free programme at your leisure where you can either relax at the resort or proceed to  Penang Island city tour. If you want more, you can choose from our optional tour add-ons to enhance your holiday experience of Jerejak Island.
Day 3: DEPART PULAU JEREJAK
After breakfast at the hotel, free program at your leisure until check out. You will then be transferred by ferry back to Penang Island Jetty.
