Day 1: Romantic Arrival in Paro & Transfer to Thimphu

Day 5: Bumthang Sightseeing – Ancient Temples & Romantic Blessings
After breakfast, explore the sacred valley of Bumthang, home to some of Bhutan's oldest and most revered temples. Visit Jakar Dzong ("Castle of the White Bird"), perched above the valley with sweeping views. Continue to Jambay Lhakhang, one of the 108 temples built in a single night in 659 AD by a Tibetan king to pin down a demon said to be obstructing Buddhism in the Himalayas — legend has it a leg of the demon lies beneath this very temple. Visit Kurjey Lhakhang, built around a rock bearing the body imprint of Guru Rinpoche himself, and Tamshing Lhakhang, founded in 1501 and famous for its original, unrestored wall paintings — among the oldest in the country.
