Day 1: Arrival in Paro – Thimphu Sightseeing (50 km, 1.5–2 hrs) (D)
Arrive at Paro International Airport. Meet and greet.
Transfer to Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital city, nestled in a scenic valley.
Begin sightseeing in Thimphu:
Visit Tashichho Dzong, the impressive fortress-monastery and government palace.
Explore Memorial Chorten, a revered stupa built in honor of the third king, Jigme Dorji Wangchuk, where locals pray daily.
