DAY 1: ARRIVAL PARO – THIMPHU (50 Kms, 1.5-2 Hrs) (D)
Meet and greet on arrival at Paro International Airport and transfer to Thimphu,Bhutan's capital city, nestled in a valley in the western interior. Visit the massive Tashichho Dzong, a fortified monastery and government palace with gold-leaf roofs, and the Memorial Chorten, a whitewashed shrine dedicated to Bhutan's third king, Jigme Dorji Wangchuk. Check into your hotel. Overnight stay at Thimphu.

DAY 2: THIMPHU – PUNAKHA EXCURSION (90 Kms, 3 Hrs) (B, D)
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Punakha, famous for its lush valleys and historical landmarks. Along the way, stop at the ancient Semtokha Dzong, enjoy panoramic views from Dochula Pass, and visit the unique Chhimi Lhakhang, known as the Temple of Fertility. Upon arrival in Punakha, marvel at the majestic Punakha Dzong, strategically located at the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers, and walk across the iconic Punakha Suspension Bridge—the longest in Bhutan. DAY 3: PUNAKHA – THIMPHU SIGHTSEEING – PARO (B, D)

Begin your day with a visit to Rinpung Dzong (Paro Dzong), a fortress-monastery with stunning architecture, followed by the ancient Kichu Lhakhang Monastery and the historic Drukgyal Dzong (currently closed to tourists). Enjoy breathtaking views from the Tiger’s Nest viewpoint and explore Ta Dzong, home to the fascinating Paro National Museum.
