Day 1: Welcome to Sri Lanka – Negombo (No Meals)
Touch down in vibrant Sri Lanka and feel the tropical breeze as our friendly local representative greets you at the airport. A short drive takes you to Negombo famous for its golden beaches and lively atmosphere. Check in to your comfortable hotel and unwind. Your island adventure has begun!
 
Day 2: From Negombo to the Heart of Kandy (Breakfast & Dinner)
After a delicious breakfast, journey inland through lush landscapes to Kandy. Stop to discover the secrets of Sri Lanka spices at a fragrant Mawanella Spice Garden. In Kandy, immerse yourself in culture as you visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth, drive along the scenic Upper Lake, and browse dazzling gems and local crafts. As evening falls, enjoy a mesmerizing Sri Lankan cultural show before dinner and a restful night in Kandy.
 
Day 3: Tea Trails and Legends – Kandy to Nuwara Eliya (Breakfast & Dinner)
Breathe in the crisp mountain air as you travel to Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka’s scenic hill country. Explore ancient legends at Sri Baktha Hanuman and Seetha Amman Temples, both steeped in the Ramayana epic. Experience the magic of lush tea plantations tour a working tea factory and sample world-famous Ceylon tea. Discover the charm of “Little England” and stroll by the picturesque Lake Gregory before settling in for the night in Nuwara Eliya.
 
Day 4: Into the Wild – Nuwara Eliya to Kataragama (Breakfast & Dinner)
After breakfast, descend through hills and valleys towards Kataragama. En route, venture into the mysterious Ravana Cave, tied to age-old legends. Arriving in Kataragama a sacred town where pilgrims gather you’ll feel the spiritual pulse of Sri Lanka. Enjoy dinner and soak in the unique atmosphere during your overnight stay.
 
Day 5: Safari, Stilt Fishermen & Galle’s Heritage – To Colombo (Breakfast & Dinner)
Start your day with an optional wildlife safari at Yala National Park, where leopards and elephants roam free. Journey along the stunning southern coast, pausing to marvel at Sri Lanka’s iconic stilt fishermen. Step back in time as you wander the cobbled streets of UNESCO-listed Galle Fort. Continue to Colombo, the bustling capital, for dinner and a comfortable night’s rest.
 
Day 6: Colombo City Sights & Fond Farewell (Breakfast)
Discover Colombo’s vibrant blend of old and new: tour the colonial Fort area, browse the lively Pettah Market, and admire landmarks like Independence Square and BMICH. Visit the colorful Panchamuga Anjaneyar Temple and enjoy some last-minute shopping. Soon, it’s time to say goodbye head to the airport with unforgettable memories and stories to tell of your Sri Lanka journey.
